So we were busy bees in August. Phew! So glad for it to be over! All the giveaway prizes were sent out, so congrats Ashfa and Sunny Chen! You should receive your gifts shortly!

What's to come for the month of September:

Twinja Book Reviews is hosting an interview with Latin@s in KidLit September 15th as the kick start National Hispanic Heritage Month.

We try to celebrate more Latino authors, bloggers, writers, and the whole nine yards all year round, but just wanted to remind readers to look up and research more authors or novels depicting Latinos more!

 And our favorite, Why do you go so hard for Diverse Books? Books are books, readers will read the ones that they connect to.

Who cares if the main protagonist is Latino. Or Transgender, Disabled or even all three! 

You are what's wrong with the world because all you see are the differences in people!

We get asked these things on a regular basis. And not just from strangers. Close friends and family members add to the list of people that just don't get it!

To reach out and diversify your choice in books.

We admit, our approach to book blogging isn't the most conventional. With reviews for books nearly everywhere on the web, it's difficult to stand out on really, any blog, with just book reviews alone.

Reviewing books that feature main protagonists, and when we mean MAIN, we mean the main narrative in which the story is being told,or if told with dual protagonists, one is of a marginalized group, or at the very least a love interest, who's main objective is more than to making kissy faces with the main character.
