2nd Annual Diversity Month Day 6-Blogger Interview with Charlotte @ Charlotte's Library +Kindle Fire 6" and Book Giveaway!

We met this lovely blogger at Kidlitcon earlier this year and just had to have her on to talk about her blog, Charlotte's Library. She's just one of those bloggers that constantly updates her content(which takes a lot of work as y'all know) and does an amazing job at highlighting diverse titles. If there is ever a blog we look to for recommendations, her blog is definitely that one.

So everyone do yourself a favor and check her blog out! In the meantime, check out her sit down with the Twinjas!

Everyone knows the hashtag #DiverseCanLit! Meet the creator!-Blogger Leonicka Valcius sits down with Twinja Book Reviews

Met this awesome lady during the twitter hashtag #DiversityInSFF discussion on twitter a few months back. She is a blogger that goes against the grain. While everyone is discussing their favorite mainstream books in the book blogger world, she continues to discuss diversity in fiction on her own blog. In fact, since there are so few, her blog is one of the several that come up in your search for such a blog. It's great for us @ Twinja Book Reviews to stay connected to outlets like hers, so we hope you all out there find a good home at her blog!

1. Why don't you tell us a little about yourself, your website Leonicka.com, and how you're connected to the publishing industry.

I’m a young black woman. I was born in Canada but spent eleven years of my life in the US before coming back. I’ve always loved reading and working with words. I am passionate about art, culture, politics… basically everything to do with people and the way they interact. Words are my favorite form of expression—I get so excited over a well-crafted sentence!

She's just Whimsically Yours!- Blogger and Writer Patrice Caldwell sits down with Twinja Book Reviews!

Diversify YA is such a great site for finding more about diverse experiences, especially from those promoting diversity in their writing. Patrice Caldwell was the first interview-ee I reached out to, and for good reason! Now she's here to talk about diversity in YA fiction!

1. We connected through a Diversity YA article of yours, but for those who didn't catch that interview, why dont know give us a better glimpse of who you are.

Of course! Hi Everyone *waves*, My name’s Patrice and I’m a 20 year old writer, reader, blogger among many other things (one of them being a college student but I’m currently going through finals so let’s not mention that, shh!). I’m originally from Northern Texas but now I’m in the Boston area because of that thing I said we weren’t going to mention right now ;) But actually, Marieke from DiversifYA did such a great job with that interview that you should all just go read the full thing here. While you’re there, be sure to check out all the other awesomeness that is DiversifYA (so many amazing interviews & discussions!!!).

2. You're an active presence on your blog "Whimsically Yours." You also balance going to college. Do you feel as though you sacrifice one for the other at times?
