Week Two for OUR favorites, Day Three: Blogs and Bloggers, Next up "Elfswood*+ Ellen Oh's Prophecy/Warrior & Sarwat Chadda's The Savage Fortress/The City of Death giveaway!

So were half way through the week, and only have three blogs left XD Blast the weeks for being so short! This next Book Blogger we chose for her honest reviews, and pretty blog layout. We've been an avid follower for some time, and it'd be awesome to highlight why we chose her.

So the third favorite Book Blogger goes to...
Elfswood: Dream.Escape.Read

One of the things we've enjoyed about elfswood's blog is her no nonsense approach to book reviewing. Many book blogs will only rate and review books that they love or wouldn't give more than 4 stars to.

That's great and all, no one wants to be a bad guy when they dont like a book, but then again, how is that constructive to the person reading the review, who is on the fence about purchasing a book.

If you're like us, 3 or less stars don't turn you off of a book. For the most part, 3 stars or less tend to be more critical, or even emotional, on why a reader may not have connected with the book(except for the occasional troll, not insinuating all 1-2-3 star reviews are fair).

If people only rated the books they liked, there'd be nothing but 4 and 5 star reviews, and that seems to defeat the purpose of a book review.

But she also blogs about  concerns in the literary world, like Authors Behaving Badly, How Negative Reviews shouldn't be an insult to your intelligence, many of the Goodreads controversy here and here.

And did I mention she was a Supernatural fan?!?

She's extremely private, but can be followed on social media. She's also looking for a co-blogger, people to guest post, and would host events such as blog tours, interviews, cover reveals, and other promotional events! Just get to know her blog first, don't just bombard her with requests! Click here for more details!
