Black Speculative Fiction Month, Day 23: Author Dennis R. Upkins joins us again! #BSFM and LGBTQ Month all in one!

So we've got another awesome treat from author Dennis Upkins! Seeing how Black Speculative Fiction Month and LGBTQ Month fall under the same month, we couldn't go the entire month without addressing both!

Denny was cool enough to join us twice for the month, to bring awareness to some awesome spec fic featuring strong intersectionality, which is what we're really big on here @ Twinja Book Reviews!

Take out your pencils people! We're about to add some more books to our Amazon wishlists!

We Welcome You To Join us for Black Speculative Fiction Month!

We at Twinja Book Reviews are constantly trying to introduce new ways to highlight diversity in books with our blog. Whether they be nationally recognized events, or events throughout the blogosphere(That may one day be recognized as national events!) we always try to take advantage of points in the year that promote diversity, especially in Fantasy and Science Fiction.

We hope that you join us for our Twinja Book Reviews hosted event: Black Speculative Fiction Month for the month of October!

Calling all geeks! Your King Dennis Upkins has arrived @ Twinja Book Reviews!

By far, Twinja Book Reviews' longest interview ever! When it comes to the marginalization of any non "default" group, you can bet author "Dennis Upkins" has something to say about it. He refuses to be silenced, and between writing his new novel, standing up for injustice, and leaping from tall buildings in a single bound, Dennis has found time to sit down with the Twinjas!
