#NAAugust Week One, Day 6: Getting Started in New Adult - Because of Summer by Elle Vaughn

So I should've really saved this for the week focused on sex in New Adult, because just from reviews, I hear it's hot, but I haven't read this myself.

In fact, I'd originally meant to highlight another book, but quite a few friends found it problematic(I hadn't read it) so I didn't want to put that out there when there are other great books you may not have heard of.

I fell in love with the cover of this choice because it's difficult to find a cover with two queer women, especially when they're not both femme. But if you're not familiar with the book, here are some of the reasons why I chose it.

Reasons why I chose Because of Summer:

~It's a book that doesn't just focusing on falling in love. I don't even think it has a happy ending. If you're looking for a different twist on a love triangle, this seems to have a love triangle well done.

~Taylor is a tattoed, sweet talking rebel and seems to totally outshine every character in the book(based on reviews :p )

~I hear the sex is awesome...

~It's set in Miami, and I'm about that Heat @_@
