#NAAugust Week Two, Day 13: YA/NA Crossover - The Reluctant Sacrifice by Kerr-Ann Dempster

So I'm most familiar with this book because I've been hearing so much about it. Like many of the other books this week, from further research, it blurs the line between YA and NA. 

We have an entire week dedicated to speculative fiction, but since I've(Guin) been taking a big part of the reigns for this month, I typically add a little spec fic every week ;p

Reasons why I choose The Reluctant Sacrifice:

~It's a story about survival. We can all relate to that. While it features a unique take on the "saving the world" trope, as the main character's role is to be sacrificed, so she's doing whatever she needs to, to prevent it, everyone can relate to that ;p

~The main character's ability to jump her soul from one body to the next is super "Van Hohenheim" pre-Brotherhood(if you've watched the anime FullMetal Alchemist which is one of my favorite shows of all time)

~With interesting worldbuilding, a blend of magic and romance, it literally has everything!
