Read our first chapter of "The Mark Of Noba" on Wattpad!

So we jumped on the bandwagon and joined Wattpad! 

It's an awesome social network for writers to gain audiences for their work. It's truly for everyone. Four authors that I follow and read myself are up there(to name a few Justina Ireland, Marissa Meyer, Heather Heffner and Red Harvey).

We're still in the middle of editing our first work under GL Tomas. But we wanted to start sharing our unedited work. 

Also take in mind, the cover up there, is an untouched, unedited, definitely not going to be the cover, cover of the book. Before we found our artist soul mate Alice Bessoni(which if your nosy, you can find it snooping around) =) We commissioned covers, not sure of what we wanted.

But an awesome cover pays for itself, and our actual cover is FREAKING AWESOME!

We'll be revealing an unedited chapter a week for Act I of "The Mark of Noba."

"The Mark of Noba" follows the exploits of Sterling Wayfairer, who finds out he is spiritually linked to Sai Liber-Tetraphirmaportacheeq(Don't worry, he can never pronounce it either!) aka Tetra.

They share a connection known as a "Bond" which results in them sharing each other's soul, and enables them to manipulate elements, known as "riding."

If you didn't get a chance to gander at them a few weeks/months back, when we featured them during our Twinja Book Reviews Favorites Month, and at any random given time that we felt like it...Here is how we picture Sterling and Tetra!

Twinja Book Reviews will be featured on "A Kind Voice on Books!"

Just wanted to let individuals know out in the internet world, that our blog, amongst many will be featured on "A Kind Voice on Books" , a part of the larger family of radio programs(Uniquely named "A Kind Voice") that include Good News, Music, Innovation, Sports and Movies. They focus greatly on positive and interesting reads.

The episode will be titled: "BookLove." It is a special episode "A Kind Voice on Books" is airing to bring listeners book recommendations they could possibly enjoy.

The host, Eden Blackwell, contacted us based on our multicultural themed blog, and thought we could give a unique perspective on our love for two books in particular. Ellen Oh's "Prophecy" from Guinevere's perspective, as well as Heather Heffner's "Year of the Wolf" from Libertad's.

Those were books both of us read, and have many positive things to say, that not only highlight diversity, but relate to us in some way.

It may be the Year of the Snake, but Heather Heffner is bringing us "The Year of The Wolf!"

We've had the honor of reading and reviewing your latest book, Year of the Wolf, a urban/epic fantasy featuring something we'd been searching for since we started Twinja Book Reviews, A LATINA MAIN PROTAGONIST. We've featured her before, but for those of you just tuning in, without further adue, we'd like to introduce Heather Heffner!

1.Would you please share with us a synopsis of your book and what inspired your kick ass heroine named Citlali.

Absolutely! “Citlalli Alvarez thought the hardest thing about adjusting to her new life in Seoul, South Korea would be the food. But when her half-sister is kidnapped for sinister purposes, Citlalli gets entangled with an ancient Vampyre Queen, her seven deadly and beautiful sons, and a dangerous spirit world. Citlalli has never been one to shy away from a fight, but in order to rescue her sister, she must face an unimaginable price that could put her very soul at stake.”

Year of the Wolf is the first book in the urban/epic fantasy Changeling Sisters Series, inspired by my time as a Foreign English teacher near Seoul, South Korea. Citlalli’s world is full of vampyres tweaked by a popular Korean myth, shape-shifters including wolves and nagas, a spirit world in need of help, hungry ghosts, and of course, a devious nine-tailed fox. Citlalli loves her family as much as she fights with them, and heaven help the enemies who threaten that bond. Her name, the Aztec word for “star,” actually inspired her character.

We may be a little late for Hanukkah and Eid al-Adha, but that doesn't mean the season for giving is over! For the month of December, we are hosting a series of interviews of authors, bloggers, agents, editors and many more who promote diversity in books. Some will be traditionally published, some self published, and we will also be hosting a giveaway of several ebooks, as well as an audiobook, a 5 dollar Amazon giftcard for the US site, and a bundle featuring Tiffany Trent's books "The Unnaturalists" and an ARC for it's sequel "The Tinker King!"

Our first guest will be Steampunk fiction author Balogun Ojetade! Not only does he star a strong historical figure like Harriet Tubman as his leading lady in his "Moses: The Chronicles of Harriet Tubman", he drops her off in a world he created, as well as battle an often invisible war in the Black Community: Colorism.

We are still in the aesthetics of our the giveaway options(waiting on a few who may donate, and how the entries will be determined), so we will put up the rafflecopter widget as soon as it's ready to start accepting entries. Until then, here is a list of what is to come!
